I understand that privacy is a concern for some of my clients and do my best to balance any concerns you may have with my own need to market my business, much of which is necessarily done online.

I usually share somewhere between 1 and 3 images from a session online – sometimes more, sometimes fewer. None of the photos I share online are tagged in any way, and I don’t mention first or last names in association with any images. The most identifying thing that I do is tag images with a general (town) location… otherwise, I try to make it as anonymous as possible, such that individuals would only be identified if someone who knew them happened to be perusing my social media or website. That level of privacy is built into how I run my business and doesn’t cost anything at all.

If you would prefer that identifiable images of specific people from the session not be shared (i.e. you don’t care if your photo is online but don’t want your kids’ faces online, or vice versa), there is a $5.00/person fee to add that to the contract. [[this number is the smallest fee]]

If you would prefer that no photos from your session that include faces (able to be indexed by facial recognition software) be shared, but are okay with photos of your backs, feet, hands, etc. being shared, there is a $10.00 fee to add that to the contract. [[this number is a bigger fee]]

If you don’t want any images from your session shared at all – the whole thing goes to you and then into the vault – there is a $50.00 fee.” [[This is the largest fee]]
3 weeks after your session, I’ll send an email with a link to your gallery of 25-30 fully edited images. From the gallery, you can download the files, back them up, and safely print them in any size up to 28″x 42″ using the print lab of your choice.”

“In order to reserve a session date, you must complete the client questionnaire, sign the portrait agreement, and submit payment for your session fee. No session dates or plans will be confirmed until all three are completed.”

“Upon download, the client accepts all responsibility for archiving and protecting digital photographs. [[GTGPHOTO.COM]] does not permanently archive purchased or unpurchased image files. [[Your studio]] is not responsible for the lifespan of any digital media provided or for any future changes in digital technology or media readers that might result in an inability to read the files or file types provided. It is the client’s responsibility to make sure that digital files are backed up and copied to new media as required.”
“If the forecast is questionable, I will contact you two days beforehand to talk about the options. If you would prefer to reschedule, please let me know immediately – no later than 24 hours before the session starts time. If you would like to proceed with the session as scheduled, you will need to provide an indoor option for the session, then the day of the session, I will make a final determination of whether the session will be held indoors or outdoors.”
“While many images are captured during a session, only the best 25-30 images are selected by the artist and prepared for presentation in the online gallery. Please note that additional images from the session will not be available for preview or purchase, and are removed permanently from the archives after the artist’s selection is made.”

“Q: What if I don’t love my photos

A: I’m happy to say that 99% of the time, a little preparation on your end and a lot of experience on my end result in a set of photos you will absolutely adore, but I understand that there’s no way for you to know that until you have them in your hand. If you’re not happy with the photos from your session, I will make it right by reshooting the session. 100% Guaranteed.”
